Come pour with us and discover the magic of creating your own candle and custom fragrance! At Elida Candle Company, our candle pouring experience is one of a kind! Perfect for a girls’ night out, bachelorette parties, birthday celebrations, team-building events, date night and more. Bring in your favorite DORA beverage and get creative! 

SMELL
To get started, simply start smelling! With a large selection of fragrances to choose from, we’re sure you’ll find one or more you’ll love. We’ll be happy to help you narrow down your list to just a few scents that blend perfectly together. 

CHOOSE
Once you’ve selected your favorite scents, it’s time to choose a candle vessel. We have four beautiful choices that all make the same size candle.

WICK
You will then wick your container and blend your custom fragrance.   

POUR
Hot wax on tap! You will pour your custom oil blend into a pouring pitcher of hot wax, then stir and smell! You will then pour your custom-scented candle into your vessel. Voila - you’ve poured your own custom-scented candle! 

​PICK UP
The entire process takes up to hour, but it’s up to you and how quickly you’d like to move through the process. You are also welcome to browse our gift shop full of distinctive hand selected gifts and home accents! The candles need to set, so they will be available in the shop for pick-up the next day we are open or any day at your convenience.

CANDLE POURING WORKSHOP POLICY

Call 419-889-8992 for a reservation. Provide your name, number of guests and date and time you would like. Workshops are reserved for one hour increments, unless a large group or in-store event. Payment is due at the time of workshop.

Food and Drink:
BYOB! Feel free to bring a beverage of your choice. We are DORA friendly. Bringing snacks? We can provide a table (request when booking). We host several workshops daily. We want to be considerate to everyone.
*Set-up and tear down will be part of your hour reservation.
*No early set-up unless approved. Tear down within the hour.

In-Store Special Event Workshops:
Reservations are required for in-store special events. In-store special events offer a variety of themes with a selection of class times and are one hour and a half. This extended times allows you to enjoy the theme of your workshop experience and allows us time to get ready for the next class behind you.

Change In Reservation/Cancellation:
Accommodations are prepared for the amount of guests booked. All reserved workshops require 24 hour notice of changes.

Candle Pick-Up
We are a candle company that specializes in 100% pure, natural soy wax. Our candles cool naturally overnight. All candles will stay at our store until they are processed for pick-up the next business day we are open. You will be notified with your candle is ready for pick-up

We can ship your candle! An additional cost will be incurred.

Join us for an exclusive Charcuterie Board Class on November 2 where you'll learn the secrets to creating a mouthwatering spread on a beautiful Ohio shaped wooden board while you enjoy a glass of wine. We will provide everything you need. 

We will guide you through selecting the finest cheeses, cured meats, fruits, and more. You will learn fun techniques like how to make salami roses and prosciutto ribbons. You will leave with the skills to impress at your next gathering!

Lights and Flights Candle Pouring Event

Join us for Lights and Flights! Sip your way through a delicious wine flight from Gillig Winery and enjoy your own charcuterie small plate while you pour your own custom scented candle. Our candle pouring experts will walk you through each step of pouring your own candle! You can then shop in our gift shop full of distinctive gift and home accents. We can’t wait to sip, savor, and pour candles with you!

You can then do some Christmas shopping in our gift shop full of distinctive decor and gifts.
